Recently, I got another package from Valentia with one of their newest products for me to review. I think I've said too many times already in this blog that I am a huge obsessive supporter of skincare and anything that happens to make my skin look healthier and better is something that I will automatically love and would love to try.
I learned that the best way to apply these is by using a foundation brush (the ones that are flat to the sides). This aids in a more even and easy application.
My first impression of this mask, in the first 3-4 minutes of having it on, was that I thought I was going to die. It burned my face to the point where I felt it sting... and I wasn't quite sure if this was supposed to be a normal feeling, so I asked my sister to give it a try and she felt the same thing. However, after 5-6 minutes of having it on, it felt really good, and it dries to the point where you can't really move your face... it's super cool. The mask has some beads that act as exfoliants once it's time to remove the mask, which I think is genius. Because this mask dries up to the point where you can't move your face, you have to warm up some water and get a towel in order to remove it.
If you have super sensitive skin, I don't think this mask is for you. However, if you have oily skin and acne prone skin, you will appreciate what this mask can do for you. You do suffer a little at the beginning because it really does sting but, if you can work with a few minutes of pain, you'll see what I mean. I've learned to love putting this mask on because it feels so luxurious; it's like I'm in a movie.
