I placed another order at Colourpop.com recently and I love the products that I got so much that they have smoothly made it into my daily makeup routine. I wanted to make a review post because if someone is iffy about buying the specific products that I got, here's my honest thoughts about them.
I will tell you the truth: these are matte and dry. They're truly ultra matte. I had a previous experience with a shade called Zipper and it went so bad, I was honestly scared to order Midi. I heard somewhere that the formula changed and, I think it's true. Midi dries very smoothly on me but ONLY if I apply a lip balm underneath. Sure, it's a little high-maintenance, but they're only $6 so I couldn't care less. Plus, the color Midi is so stunning! It's perfect for Spring, Summer and year-round tbh (and I think it's a perfect dupe for one of the Kylie Jenner lips, as well?).
I was looking for a dupe for my Anastasia Brow Wiz ~because it's expensive~ and I think I've found a great alternative (that is still cruelty-free)! I own the Brow Wiz in Ebony and I think it is my perfect shade because I have very dark brows and, because of this, I was inclined to order the color Black n' Brown. However, after using it, I think it is slightly too dark for me but not to the point where I cannot wear it. Perhaps next time, I will order the shade Dope Taupe because it says it is more universal. Either way, this pencil is very creamy/blendable and durable! The spoolie is nice and not too stiff which is nice because it will blend the color but not take it away. Totally recommend (and even more when it is only $5)!
