Early last week, I received news that I would be reviewing Valentia's newest facial serum and I got so excited. I'm a skincare freak even though some people might say I'm too young to be one. But, who cares. The earlier you start caring for your skin, the better.
+ It is very comfortable on the skin. It doesn't linger for too much so your face doesn't feel oily or weird.
+ The scent is kind of weird, to be honest. It reminds me of a medicine I used to take when I was younger.
+ However, this scent doesn't last for too long after you're done applying it, either, so it gets better.
+ I can feel it hydrating my skin because I don't feel any tightness.
+ The packaging is sturdy, cute and compact so it is practical for traveling.
So, if you are looking for a serum to add to your skin care routine and you have dry skin, this one's pretty good. I'm sorry I can't tell you guys how much better it is than other serums because I don't have much experience with others but, this one's pretty neat.
Thanks for reading, xx.

I believe I've exhausted the amount of times I've mentioned my skin is the normal type. I have the weirdest skin type, in my opinion, because I am so used to not having any blemishes or zits that, when I do, it feels like the end of the world for me. I reckon that I sound super annoying while I say this because I also know that having a normal skin type is the "dream" skin type. However, once winter time comes, my skin wrecks havoc. I get super dry patches and I get into a crisis because, once again, I am not used to it.
I was super excited to try Valentia's Royal Rose Hydrating Serum* because (1) I had never incorporated a serum into my skin care routine and (2) it is still super cold around New Jersey and it has been super harsh on my skin. I've been playing with it for around a week or so and I've been applying it how it says on the bottle: serum first, moisturiser second. This method of application confused me because I know that serums can penetrate the moisturiser barrier but moisturisers cannot penetrate the serum barrier, so it kind of threw me off a little. It was okay though, not the end of the world.
I'm going to cut the whole story short because I know that's what you guys want: this serum is great. Here's a few key points of my personal thoughts:
