I'm a gigantic enthusiast of good, catchy and just plain awesome shows to put on your computer at night and simply doze off to. Hashtag netflix and chill, am I right? (I'm kidding.)
Today, I thought I would share my very and truly, deeply favourite ones because I want to help the world find the best and only the most amazing shows out there. You know, for those who are like me and are into almost every single genre of films/shows. Let's get on with it, shall we:
Parks & Recreation
This has to be my #1 most favourite show in the history of the world because it is simply the most amazing thing in this planet. It has the most stupidest plot but the most brilliant characters. Each episode is so relatable and the characters are so lovable; I don't think anyone has ever regretted watching Parks & Rec, tbh. (I want to be the Leslie Knope of life, honestly)
Once Upon a Time
This show has made me question all of my sanity ever since Captain Hook appeared on the set of this show. I feel like this show is like watching a fan fiction of Disney characters and it is so good. If you can get your friends to watch it, too, you will be a much more organised mess because then you can both yell at each other about everything that happens and calm each other down. Trust me, it's the wisest decision.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
I love this series. I don't care if it's for children; it's funny, it's sentimental, it teaches you so much about yourself and others, it's inspiring and it makes you want to drink tea all the freaking time. My best friend actually told me the other day that there's a second part that's called The Legend of Korra and my guess is that it was released when I was in middle or high school because never had I heard of it. But, now that I've seen it, I can tell you that it's really good but Avatar is way better. (Aang and Prince Zuko give me all the feels)
Adventure Time
If you know me, you'll have noticed that I'm into freaky, weirdy stuff. That being said, Adventure Time is just my cup of tea. Again, it's a kid's show but it has been made with scripts that are so wise and mature that it doesn't matter if you're 6, 18 or 25, you will enjoy this show.
The Big Bang Theory
This show made me realise that I really, really wanted to be a scientist. There are strong stereotypes and bad jokes in this but, honestly, it makes you want to be smart enough to actually get all of the science jokes that Leonard or Howard do. And, let's not even talk about Sheldon. Just watch it if you're the kind of nerd that wants to know it all (lol).
The Carrie Diaries
This show was cancelled after only two seasons but it was the greatest thing. It's about Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City in her early teen years and how she had this huge passion for fashion and writing. There's a ton of relatable things and I love Austin Butler and I think I am going to rewatch the whole series again because I miss it so much. You guys should watch it if you're into girly things, tbh, because it's a super girly show (laughs).
Thanks for reading, xx. I'm out to do a bunch of homework so, wish me luck.
